Facilitated by Mateo Guez (director, Late Fragment KCFF8), this 2 hour workshop will explore the world of filmmaking on cell phones including tips and tricks for shooting and editing. Participants will receive a video capable cell phone for the course of the festival and will shoot and edit their own film in 4 days. A selection of the best films will be showcased before the festival’s closing screening of Shake Hands with the Devil while the rest will be available for download right here..

Mateo Guez is an experienced cell phone filmmaker who is currently shooting a series of cell phone films for Motorola.

This workshop is limited to 10 participants. Registration is first come, first serve. Participants must have access to editing software and will be required to sign a liability/release form for use of the cell phone.
