When Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson of TV's Dawson'sCreek and Fringe) is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides he has to shake up what's rest of his life. He impulsively buys a vintage motorcycle and sets off on a Trans-Canada adventure, much to the dismay of his concerned fiancée (Liane Balaban, Seven Times Lucky). Writer-director Michael McGowan (Saint Ralph, KCFF '05) crafts a graceful balance between generous comedy, emotional gravity, and gorgeous scenery in this love-letter to all that is iconic and unique about Canada. Featuring a very funny cameo by The Tragically Hip's Gord Downie as a motel philosopher.
