Can I still submit my feature film? Unfortunately the Deadline for the 2008 Festival has passed. Information regarding Film Submissions for the 2009 Festival will be available in the fall of 2008.
When will the feature film schedule be released? The feature film schedule is now available on the
schedule page.
Guests
When will the guest list be posted?
The 2008 Kingston Canadian Film Festival guest list will be available about a week before the festival.
Local Shorts
When is the Local Shorts deadline? The submission period for this year's festival is now closed. Check back in the fall for details regarding the 2009 Festival.
How long can my short be? Only films under 12 minutes will be accepted for the Local Shorts program.
Can my short have copyrighted music? No, films that do not have written permission from the artists will not be accepted.
I live in ___________, can I submit my short? Only short films with an arguable Kingston connection will be accepted to the Local Short program.
What do you consider an arguable Kingston connection? An arguable Kingston connection includes any shorts that were created by current or former residents of Kingston as well as films that were produced within a 100 km radius of Kingston.

Tickets
When do tickets and VIP passes go on sale? Tickets for the 2008 Kingston Canadian Film Festival are now available. Information on how to purchase tickets can be found on the
Tickets Page.
What benefits are included with the VIP pass? A VIP pass entitles you admission into all screenings including the Opening Gala, as well as entrance into the opening gala party and a special private VIP reception on Saturday afternoon.
When and where is the VIP reception? Information regarding the VIP reception can be found by entering the special VIP page through the Tickets page.
How much are tickets? VIP Passes are $70($60 for students/seniors), single tickets are $10

Volunteer
I am interested in volunteering, how do I sign up? The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is no longer looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for next year's festival contact Stephanie Wilson at
Stephanie@kingcanfilmfest.com.
What areas of the Festival do volunteers participate in? Volunteers are an integral part of the Kingston Canadian Film Festival and are utilized in all aspects of the Festival including; event staff, hospitality, production of sponsor clips, and receptions.
Workshops
How much do workshops cost? KCFF workshops are FREE!.
Do I have to signup for workshops? Yes, due to high demand, participants must pre-register for workshops in order to ensure his or her space. Workshop Forms can be found on the Workshops Page.
Can I sign up for more than one workshop? Yes, you can sign up for as many workshops as you like.
What topics will be covered in the workshops? This year's Festival will feature an
NFB Kids' Animation Workshop, a
Cell Phone filmmaking Workshop facilitated by
Late Fragment director Mateo Guez and an
Acting Workshop facilitated by Barry Blake. Space is still available in all three of our workshops.
