Synopsis
Alberta (Leelee Sobieski, Eyes Wide Shut) is a small-town girl on the run who ends up crashing with her childhood babysitter, now a very grown-up big city dominatrix named Celene (Tricia Helfer, Battlestar Galactica). Desperate to make money, Alberta secretly slips into Celene’s skin-tight leather and takes on one of her clients (Jacob Tierney, Blood). But thanks to a creepy crime-boss (Lothaire Bluteau, Jesus of Montreal) with a violent score to settle, she soon discovers that love, latex, and larceny really don’t mix. Robert Cuffley’s (Turning Paige) second feature, co-written with Jason Long, is a comic noir loaded with oddball charm.
