Synopsis

Nine years ago, Donnie (Rossif Sutherland) was a talented white boxer who made the biggest mistake of his life. Imprisoned for beating a black teenager badly enough to put him in a coma, Donnie is now a changed man. But in his racially divided community, nobody cares; they just want to see him pay. When help arrives, it’s from the most unlikely source — the father of Donnie’s victim, an aging boxing trainer (the amazing Danny Glover, Lethal Weapon) struggling to bury the past. Nominated for three Genies, director Clement Virgo’s (Lie With Me) latest is a compelling drama about revenge and redemption.
