Synopsis

All ex-con Ray Dokes wants is to go home to small-town Ontario and stay out of trouble. But trouble’s got other plans. When a multimillion-dollar racehorse is stolen, Ray concocts a wild plan to save the local farms, get revenge on the sleaze-ball that got him jailed, and just maybe win back the woman he loves. The stellar cast includes Oscar-winner Keith Carradine (Nashville), Luke Kirby (Mambo Italiano), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Oscar-nominee Graham Greene (Dances with Wolves), and the luminous Lisa Ray (Water). Based on Brad Smith’s novel, Leonard Farlinger’s (The Perfect Son) latest is a straight-talking modern western overflowing with wry humour and laid-back charm.
