Volunteer
The Kingston Canadian Film Festival depends heavily on its volunteers who, every year, help make the Festival successful. The Festival relies on volunteer support for:
- Hospitality - assist our visiting industry guests
- Receptions - ticket taking, food service and general help
- Events - ticket taking, ushers, marketing studies
- Sponsor Clips production - assist wtih the filming and editing of interviews with our sponsors
As the volunteers are so vital to the festival we are dedicated to providing a great experience. Volunteers of the Festival enjoy:
- Invitations to the parties, including the private reception with festival guests
- Access to the films
- Free festival t-shirt
Our diverse group of volunteers attends bi-weekly meetings to keep up to date on the Festival's events. Meetings are usually followed by informal social time so that volunteers are able to get to know each other before the weekend of the Festival.
We will begin accepting volunteers for our 2010 festival in January 2010. Thank you for your support!
