Volunteer

The Kingston Canadian Film Festival depends heavily on its volunteers who, every year, help make the Festival even more successful than the year before. Volunteers are able to participate in many different aspects of the Festival. The Festival relies on volunteer support for hospitality, receptions and event staff. Volunteers can also be involved in the production of the sponsor clips, which are short, humourous clips that recognize our sponsors and are screened before each feature film during the Festival.

As the volunteers are so vital to the festival we are dedicated to providing a great experience. Volunteers of the Festival enjoy invitations to the parties, including the private reception with festival guests, access to the films, and of course the festival t-shirt! Our diverse group of volunteers attends bi-monthly meetings to keep up to date on the Festival events. Meetings are usually followed by informal social time so that volunteers are able to get to know each other before the weekend of the Festival.

Next Volunteer Meeting - February 25th 7:00PM in the Delahaye Room at the Kingston Public Library Central Branch

We are no longer accepting new Volunteers. Check back in the fall for volunteer information regarding the 2009 Festival.
